The LSI affiliated school Academia Tica was founded in 1986 and is one of the longest established Spanish language schools in Costa Rica. The school is beautifully located in the middle of a tropical garden, on the grounds of an old farm. The surrounding area is full of green pastures, and dairy cattle ranches. There is a bus stop directly outside the school and the facility to hire bicycles free of charge.The school has 7 bright classrooms, a reference library, internet connection, large gardens and a cafeteria.
